Yes, it's a Hellcat. And yes, it was loud. More photos and video of the wonderful exhaust coming later. Thanks to the driver for letting me sit in it!

I've just turned into the biggest jar of jelly.

Dodge is here for a week with 50 new Challengers (20 Hellcats) for press and publicity. I'll be at the track tomorrow when they're lapping and drag racing.

If you are free tomorrow, from 12 to 4 they are driving around the track and drag racing.

How is the interior quality? Does it feel as premium as it looks?

Sadly, as is often the case, my work schedule interferes with my car enthusiasm schedule. I might try to sneak away for a slightly longer lunch to catch a glimpse though.

Thank you, Dodge.

I have to be baffled at the blank buttons on the steering wheel. Really? Are there really blank buttons on the steering wheel? That's terrible. But at the same time, the more information that comes out about this beast, the more I feel like I could handle jumping ship and having one for years as my DD. I just need to find a second-hand creampuff in a few years.

I would say definetly better than previous models, and a pretty good interior overall, but there wasn't anything super outstanding.

Pretty much what I expected.
